In its first year in 2011, Sportsman Pantry donated over 7,000 pounds of ground deer meat to help families in need across Georgia.
This program is a collaboration between the Georgia Hunting & Fishing Federation, GON, Safari Club International of Georgia, and Farmers and Hunters for the Hungry. We've set up deer processing centers around the state where donated deer are prepared and given to local groups helping families.
Through these combined efforts, we ensure that our hunting and fishing traditions thrive while simultaneously extending a helping hand to those in need, reinforcing our commitment to the values we hold dear.
